F or a unique Blue Mountain Experience why not come to our beautiful Blue Mountain Pottery Studio for a one off creative clay workshop.
This is designed for those wanting to do something different, have fun, and create. Perfect for Corporate Team Building. It is also perfect for those misty Mountain Days you might experience during your stay here. Suitable for corporate partners, families, hen’s parties, 8th anniversaries and those wanting to experience something totally different.
The studio is air conditioned for comfort, tea and coffee making facilities are available.
You will be guaranteed to have several pieces made during the 2 hour session, including a pot made on the wheel and although you cannot complete the work, arrangements will be made to have the pieces glazed and fired.
Enjoy the experience of creating with clay in the beautiful Hart Ceramics Studio in the Blue Mountains – cool in summer and warm in winter.
The classes cater for all students from beginners to the more experienced. Included in the cost, is the clay (usually 1 bag), colourants, glaze materials and firing, the student need only bring an old shirt to protect their clothing.
Lyn Hart has been a professional potter for over 35 years.She first studied under Helen Gulliver who encouraged her to further her studies at Brookvale Technical Collage, completing her Certificate in Ceramics in 1982. From her Blue Mountain Studio, Lyn Hart produces a range of fine ceramic products for a discerning market. Each piece is created using only the finest materials and attention to detail expected at this level of production.
In 1993 Lyn completed her associate Diploma at Brookvale, researching and testing texture based on rock forms and her environment.
Since then, she has continued to formulate her ideas in many forms to attain the structure of today’s ceramics.
